Since 2015, Dingao has focused on one practical job: turning product ideas, samples, and technical requirements into knitted apparel that can be repeated in production.
A factory with a name, a place, and a defined focus.
Dingao is Yiwu Dingao Garment Co., Ltd., an export-oriented custom knitted apparel and activewear manufacturer based in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China.
Established in 2015, the company coordinates pattern making, sample development, garment production, inspection, finishing, and packing from its Yiwu manufacturing site. Its product scope covers tops, bodysuits, hoodies, sweatshirts, activewear, leggings, yoga pants, and pajamas/loungewear.
From a Yiwu factory to a more deliberate way of working
Dingao’s history is still short enough to tell without turning it into mythology. The confirmed record begins in 2015, continues through the capabilities visible at the site today, and includes a dated social-audit milestone in 2026.
A factory begins in Yiwu
Yiwu Dingao Garment Co., Ltd. is established in Yiwu,
Zhejiang, with a focus on garment manufacturing.
2021
Development and production are connected
The operation brings together pattern and sample
roles, two standard production lines, a coordinated
production group, inspection, finishing, packing, and
order communication.
A dated social-audit record
An amfori BSCI social audit is completed at the Yiwu
manufacturing site on May 11, 2026. The record remains
site-, scope-, and time-bound.
The work is shared across development, production, inspection, finishing, packing, and buyer coordination.
—— People behind the work
Repeatability is a team result.
A factory is not only a floor plan or a machine list. It is a sequence of people making connected decisions before, during, and after sewing.
1
Pattern & sample development
Two pattern makers and three skilled sample makers support fit and construction development. Dingao’s core pattern-making experience exceeds 30 years, using ET and Bok systems.
2
Production
Two standard garment production lines work with one coordinated production group to carry approved details into bulk execution.
3
Inspection & finishing
Fabric, cutting, in-process, finishing, final-garment, packing, and broken-needle controls are applied according to order requirements.
4
Buyer coordination
The commercial role is to keep product inputs, approvals, branding, packaging, timing, and required records understandable across distance.
Four habits that make the relationship easier to evaluate.
1
Clarify before committing
Review the product reference, material direction, quantity, branding, packaging, and target timing before confirming feasibility.
2
Use the sample to remove ambiguity
Fit, measurements, material, color, workmanship, and trims should be reviewed before bulk details are released.
3
Keep approvals visible
Production decisions should trace back to an approved reference and the order-specific requirements shared by the buyer.
4
Describe evidence accurately
An audit, capacity reference, MOQ, or lead time must keep its date, scope, and conditions. A qualified statement is more useful than an oversized promise.
Dingao operates from Shangxi Town in Yiwu. The site combines development, production, storage, inspection, finishing, packing, and office functions within an approximately 5,000 m² factory context.
Dingao’s current product structure centers on cut-and-sew knitted apparel. Detailed materials, styles, quantities, and development conditions belong on the relevant product and capability pages.
For an overseas buyer, clear communication is part of the manufacturing work.
Dingao can begin with a physical sample, reference image, design sketch, tech pack, or reference link. Product details, material direction, labels, packaging, quantity, and approvals should then be recorded before bulk decisions are made.
Market-specific testing, labeling, logistics, payment terms, and delivery requirements are confirmed per project. They are not assumed from a buyer’s location.
Dingao Garment maintains third-party audit and certification records for its apparel manufacturing site in Yiwu, China. Current records include an amfori BSCI social audit, with additional verified documents added as they become available. Each record shows its issuer, scope, site, and validity period to support buyer due diligence.
